The WAMCATS telegraph building, the third of four (see arrow) at McCarty is at Big Delta State Historical Park, which includes Rika's Roadhouse. The other buildings no longer exist. McCarty, formally Rika's Landing, was renamed Big Delta. The telegraph station and Rika's Roadhouse were neighbors on the Tanana River. It was constructed in 1907 and reassembled here in 1991.
