Driving west from Whitehorse, The Canyon Creek rest area is on the right at mile 965.6, from Dawson Creek's "Mile 0," and 78 miles from Whitehorse. A detailed interpretative panel recounts the bridge's life from 1904 to 2005. The original bridge, above, and the 1920 version, left, are from historical archives. The Alcan bypasses the old road and has a modern bridge over the creek.
