Rika's Roadhouse is 8 miles north of Delta Junction, on Richardson Hwy, at Big Delta State Historical Park. Rika's Roadhouse was constructed here at the confluence of Tanana and Delta Rivers. John Hajdukovich built the original structure in 1910 He had logs floated down the Tanana River for the walls. The tar paper roof cover is from the original design. Rika Wallen bought it in 1923 after working for Hajdukovich since 1917. The unique museum, top left, is not part of the original buildings,
