Al Can Dawson Creek ~ Pioneer Village

The Taylor House, built in 1928-29, displays dove-tail joints at the corners. Oakum (hemp fiber) and rags soaked in tar fill the chinks between the logs. The two story interior has cozy living quarters, including a living room and two bedrooms.

The furniture, objects, and decor are from the 1920's. The parlor, top left, looks livable. The bedrooms appear to be a good collection of adult and child artifacts.
