Pouce Coupe Central School, above, built in 1918, was constructed by volunteers from donated materials. Later it had a new life as a community center until 1971. Visitors are free to roam both schools and examine all items. Everything dates from the period.

AlCan Dawson Creek ~ Pioneer Village

Dawson Creek School, above, built in 1916, educated students every school year - except 1919 - until 1931, when it became too small. It served as a community hall for another decade.
