The first view of the Liard River, on the AlCan driving north, comes at its graceful suspension bridge. The bridge spans the Liard a mile before reaching Liard River community and the famous Liard River Hot- Springs Provincial Park. The highway and river run side by side from this crossing almost to Watson Lake YT, 136 miles northwest of the bridge. The river shots show it flowing south, near Liard River BC.
